Live Arico is not a typical refuge with kennels and cages, the dogs are in groups where they can play and live together, and they are never left alone – they have 24 hour care. We try to provide a home for these animals where they can live happily together.
The philosophy of Live Arico is to care for these animals as long as they need it. We do our best to find them homes but if we can´t, they stay with us for their natural life. It is our belief that it is not our decision to put these animals to sleep, it is not their fault they were born and have been abandoned, it is human beings that have created the problem, so it is up to us to try and put things right for them.

Of course we need lots of help to do this and we ask that you support us, you can do this in many ways, become a member of Live Arico or a volunteer, become a foster parent, make a donation or bequest in your will, place a collecting box in your business.
